“Hi Neighbor” Block Parties

Host a block party with the intention of building a gospel driven relationship with your friends and neighbors! Visit wildwoodchurch.org/blockparty or TEXT blockparty1 to 95577 for more information.

Live Streaming Each Sunday

For those of you on Facebook, we wanted to make you are aware that we are now live streaming our 11AM worship service each week via Facebook Live (accessible via our church Facebook page).  This will allow those who physically cannot be with us in body each Sunday to still stay connected with the congregation.  It also creates a convenient way for you to share Wildwood with those in your sphere of influence via social media.

Wildwood App

For over a year now, Wildwood has had an Android and IOS app with current info about Wildwood ministries, church calendar, podcasts of messages, and more.  This app has just been fully redesigned and you can find it now in your favorite app store!  If you already have the app, make sure you have updated it to the latest version to take advantage of all the current features.

With changes coming to Wildwood’s online community (“The City” is being discontinued by our software provider in early 2019), we have found a new solution for online giving.  This new solution takes advantage of “best in class” security allowing people to give in a convenient and secure way from the Wildwood web page or via the newly redesigned app referenced above.

Download/Update the Wildwood app HERE or text WILDWOODAPP to 95577 for a link sent straight to your phone.

Fellowship Assistance

Church family, we have people in our body that are experiencing significant financial burdens as they go through very difficult life situations. If God moves in your heart to give, you can place a gift in the offering bag or bring it by the church office, with “Fellowship Assistance” in the memo or on the envelope. Thank you! “…Do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share.” 1 Timothy 6:18.

Mentors and Classroom Buddies

Serving at our schools is a fantastic way to invest in the community around us! Join us a a classroom teacher buddy or a mentor. We have students waiting to match with a mentor and openings for more classroom buddies. For more information, call/text Lisa Goering at 405-628-9307 or by email at outreach@wildwoodchurch.org

Adopt-A-Sooner 2018-2019

Adopt-a-Sooner is a great opportunity for families at Wildwood to connect with college students. We have already had several new students sign up and we are looking for families to come alongside these students. It doesn’t take much time – but the impact on the students’ lives is significant. Go to wildwoodchurch.org/ministries/college/adoptasooner for more information or to sign up.

Wildwood wishes to express our sympathy to:

  • Joel Regnier and family on the recent death of his Mother.
  • Connie and Cory Shields and family on the recent death of Mike, (Husband and Father).

Looking For A Place To Serve?

We really do believe that a healthy, vibrant children’s ministry is absolutely essential to the growth of the local and global church. DL Moody once said, “If I could relive my life, I would devote my entire ministry to  teaching children for God. “ To get plugged in, please contact Brooke at  bharrison@wildwoodchurch.org

Food and Shelter for Friends Panera Bread Delivery

There are several dates coming up that are available!

Every weekend Panera Bread donates the leftover baked goods to Food and Shelter for Friends- and we need help making this delivery. It is very simple but a huge blessing to those who serve breakfasts to hungry members of our community!

You will pick up the bread from Panera Bread on Saturday night at close (10:00pm) or early Sunday morning (around 7:00am).  Food and Shelter for Friends asked that we just deliver all items the way we receive them (boxes, bags, or whatever) and deliver it on Sunday or Monday  from 7:30 to 1:30.  Any time during that window is fine.

All you do is pick up items at Panera Bread and deliver the boxes as they are to Food and Shelter!  Be sure to take it to Food and Shelter’s NEW LOCATION:  201 Reed Avenue, Norman, Oklahoma 73071

It just takes a little to be a huge blessing, sign up today!

Outreach Updates

The Outreach Teams will be providing monthly updates for anyone interested in reaching Norman and beyond! You can sign up via text or email. Text OUTREACH18 to 95577 or email OUTREACH18 to outreach@wildwoodchurch.org

Join the Team Welcoming Others to Church!

Do you know what it is like to walk into a new church the first time?  Do you want to help others find a place at Wildwood that fits their gifts and passions?  Do you understand how important it is to be in Christian community? Whether you have been at Wildwood for 10 years or 2 weeks, you can serve with us!  This is a fantastic way to connect your self to the mission of our church!

If you are interested in greeting at the front doors, serving at the gathering hall desk, connecting others by providing information about Wildwood, ushering or serving on our A Team (security team); we would love to have you join our team!  To ask questions or sign up to serve, contact lisagoering@wildwoodchurch.org or 405-628-9307
